On June 10-12, 2025, within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Nokerguly Atagulyev, according to the official website of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes to the head of Uzbekistan from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.

The parties reviewed pressing issues concerning the further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Turkmen relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, and strategic partnership.

Particular attention was paid to forming a new agenda for full-scale cooperation in the trade and economic, transport and communication, energy, and water management spheres, as well as enhancing cooperation in various sectors of the economy.
