The 106th meeting of the CIS Economic Council was held in Moscow
On July 18, 2025, the delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation E. Aydogdyev took part in the 106th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which was held in Moscow.During the meeting, a wide range of issues of economic cooperation among CIS member states were considered, as well as a number of draft documents concerning, in particular, cooperation in the area of ensuring regional energy security, the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, pricing in construction activities, forestry and the forest industry, etc.At the same time, the meeting participants discussed a number of issues related to the implementation in 2024 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the first stage (2021–2025) of the CIS Economic Development Strategy for the period up to 2030.The next meeting of the Economic Council is scheduled for September 5, 2025 in Dushanbe.
