President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on August 5.
According to the Press Service of the President of Kazakhstan, President Tokayev will take part in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), which will be held from August 5 to 8 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
The conference agenda includes discussions on key aspects of regional cooperation, sustainable development issues, and the improvement of transport connectivity for countries without direct access to the sea.
The event in Avaza will act as a key platform for dialogue between global leaders and international development partners. The conference is anticipated to convene heads of 32 states, as well as government officials, delegations from UN member states, the UN Secretary-General, and his deputies.
The Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries is held once every ten years.
