On August 5, 2025, on the sidelines of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a signing ceremony of a number of bilateral documents between Turkmenistan and foreign countries, as well as international organizations, took place.
Among the signed documents are the Protocol on Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad of Burkina Faso, the Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Eswatini, the Protocol on Political Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Slovak Republic on Economic Cooperation, a document on the technical assistance project: “Promoting Regional Connectivity and Smart Customs through Digital Transformation”, as well as the Annual Work Plan for 2025 “Promoting the Creation of Resilient Communities to Prevent Violent Extremism in Central Asia”.
