New Autodromes Open in Lebap and Mary Velayats

New driving autodromes were officially opened in the Lebap and Mary velayats of Turkmenistan. The facilities were built on behalf of the Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency and are equipped with digital technologies aimed at improving the quality of driver training, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Tuesday.

In the city of Turkmenabat, Lebap velayat, a driving complex with two zones has been launched. The first is designed for practicing basic vehicle control skills, while the second replicates urban traffic infrastructure, featuring intersections, traffic lights, road signs, speed radars, and pavement markings.

The project was implemented by the Turkmenabat-based company Demirbetonkonstruksiýa, starting in January 2022, using mainly domestically produced materials. The local branch also received new training vehicles — three Toyota Corolla sedans, a Haise minibus, and a Hanter cargo truck.

In Mary velayat, the local branch of the Türkmenawtoulaglary driving school network now accommodates up to 300 trainees at once. The facility includes 10 fully equipped classrooms and two modern autodromes, one of which is fitted with an electronic monitoring system. All classrooms are connected to a digital platform to ensure effective learning of professional driving skills.
