Traveling to Gyzylsuv township

Marine Merchant Fleet operates regular trips between Turkmenbashi and Gyzylsuv on two passenger ships: "Charlak" and "Rovach". The ship "Charlak" starts its trip from Turkmenbashi to Gyzylsuv daily at 11:00 and back at 13:30. The ship "Rovach" starts its trip at 12:00 and returns at 14:30. On summer days, tickets for the “Charlak” ship cost 20 manats one way, but starting from September 1, prices will drop to 15 manats. Tickets for the “Rovach” ship cost 25 manats, and VIP seats cost 38 manats one way. From September 1, ticket prices for "Rovach" will drop to 20 manats, VIP seats to 30 manats.

The enrollment of students for the 2023-2024 academic year in the subordinated secondary professional schools of the agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" is in full swing!

The Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" continues to recruit students for the 2023-2024 academic year to the Marine Secondary Professional School of the city of Turkmenbashi and the River Secondary Professional School of the city of Turkmenabad. The admission will run until August 21, 2023.

Amusement park "Jadyly Kenar" on Avaza invites to a concert

On the occasion of the summer holiday season, concerts of famous pop singers of Turkmenistan will be held in the amusement park "Jadyly Kenar" of the economic society "Deniz" of the National tourist zone "Avaza". The concerts will be held from 9 to 18 August 2023 under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Balkan velayat.

Ship of the national fleet was repaired at the “Balkan” shipbuilding and repairing yard

In the near future, it is planned to put into operation the tanker "Atamyrat Nyýazow". It is an oil and oil products carrier vessel with the capacity of a 4260 gross tonnage (GT), and was built in 2001. The repair works of this vessel was almost completely carried out by local specialists. The launching into the sea of this tanker will contribute to the growth of exports of oil products of our country.

Turkmenbashi International Sea Port proposes to store cargo without customs duties

The international seaport of Turkmenbashi, being a new port in the Caspian region, has a number of advantages and services for handling cargo. The favorable territorial location of the country and the increasingly active participation of Turkmen carriers and logistics companies in international transportation contribute to a daily increase in the volume of transit cargo. Some transit cargoes transported to the Turkmenbashi seaport are stored in a customs warehouse.

On 6th July, 2023, the presentation of the book «The Islamic Development Bank and Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Ali. History of an Institution and a Journey of a President», presented to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by the first president of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmad Mohammad Ali Al-Madani was held at the Institute of International relations under MFA of Turkmenistan. The ceremony was attended by the heads and representatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan, the Agency for transport and communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the State Bank for foreign economic affairs of Turkmenistan, a number of ministries, state agencies, academic staff and students of higher educational institutions of the country, as well as heads and employees of diplomatic missions of foreign states, representative offices of international and regional organizations, including banking and financial structures accredited in Turkmenistan.

A meeting was held between the agency "Turkmendenizderyayolary" and the association "KOMEA".

On 20 July 2023, a meeting between the executives of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency and the head of the Marine Equipment Association "KOMEA" of the Republic of Korea was held in the administrative building of the "Turkmendenizderyayollary" Agency.   The meeting provided a comprehensive introduction to Turkmenistan's maritime transport system, the planned shipbuilding projects for the development of the national merchant marine fleet and port system, and proposed to establishment of bilateral, mutually beneficial cooperation.

On 16th of June, 2023, was held the third meeting of the Turkmen-Latvian working group on transport. As the result of the meeting, on 12th June, 2023, the Communique on cooperation in the field of transport and logistics was signed between Central Asia and the Republic of  Latvia.

The international seaport of Turkmenbashi received bulky cargo

On May 31, 2023, 2 bulky quarry mining equipment was delivered to the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi. These equipments were manufactured in Germany and delivered by sea from Turkish ports to the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port. Each of these equipment weighs 125 tons and intended for the second stage of the Lebap cement plant in the Lebap velayat.

Turkmenbashi international sea port was awarded the certificate "EcoPorts"

On June 1, 2023, the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Ms. Helga Schmid, presented the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the «EcoPorts» certificate awarded to the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi. The reception of this certificate by the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port will give the status of a «Green Port» integrated into the transport system of Europe and the international level, creating great opportunities for the port. This certification will not only open up new opportunities for the port, but will also help improve the efficiency of the port.

"World Sustainable Transport Day"

During the 70th plenary session of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, on November 26 was declared the "World Sustainable Transport Day" by the initiative of Turkmenistan and with the unanimous support of the member states of the organization. On the occasion of this good news, a meeting was held at the “Beyik Yupek yoly” hotel of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport on May 24, 2023, with the participation of employees of the Turkmendenizderyayollary agency, representatives of public organizations and a deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the Avaza district.

Strengthening cooperation with Russian partners in the maritime transport sector

On May 15, 2023 the training to improve the qualification of the specialists of the Agency "Sea and River Routes" of Turkmenistan in St. Petersburg, organized by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) in the framework of the signed Agreement between the Agency "Türkmendeňizderýaýollary" and RMRS on delegating authority for services of ship surveys and registration of documents in accordance with the requirements of international treaties relating to merchant shipping.

On May 3-4, 2023 was held The International Conference and Exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development - 2023"  in Ashgabat. The key areas of the forum were international transport and transit corridors, multimodality and its role in facilitating transport and logistics processes, the role of the international transport corridor "North-South" as the main transport and transit artery in developing the transport potential of the participating countries, cooperation with international organizations in creating favorable conditions for the transport system to achieve sustainable development.
