On December 3, 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with a delegation from the Italian Republic, headed by the Ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy. This was reported on the official website of the Turkmenistan News Portal.
The agenda included a discussion of a draft action plan for creating networks of multilateral cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and Italy.
The issue of developing this document was agreed upon by the heads of foreign ministries within the framework of the third Ministerial Conference in the "Central Asia-Italy" format, held in Rome on May 29 of this year.
The meeting participants noted that the document will include cooperation between countries in the fields of energy, transport, agriculture, water management, education, healthcare, and other areas.
Following the talks, the parties confirmed their readiness to deepen mutually beneficial relations.
