As part of the project to build two dry cargo vessels with a deadweight of 6100 tons, specialists from the Quality Control Department of the OJSC “Shipbuilding and Repairing Yard “Balkan” have successfully completed certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to Levels I and II.
The employees received certificates for Ultrasonic (UT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) testing methods. These methods are key to ensuring the high quality of welding works, which is critically important for the reliability and safety of the future vessels.
The advanced training of the “Balkan” Shipyard’s personnel confirms the company’s commitment to adhering to the highest standards in shipbuilding and guarantees that the construction of the dry cargo vessels will be carried out in accordance with international norms.
