President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace in Rome on Friday as part of his official visit to Italy.
The meeting focused on strengthening political dialogue and expanding bilateral cooperation, as reported by the Embassy of Italy in Turkmenistan.
The visit program includes President Berdimuhamedov’s participation in the Turkmen-Italian Business Forum and the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Ancient Civilization of Turkmenistan” at the Capitoline Museum in Rome.
The visit is expected to conclude with the signing of several bilateral agreements in key areas of cooperation.
