A Round Table Meeting Was Held at the Turkmenbashi International Seaport

On July 1, 2026, a round table meeting was held at the Passenger Terminal of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport. Jointly organized by the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan, the event was actively attended by specialists and young employees of the maritime transport sector. The main agenda of the meeting focused on the "Dostluk" oil tanker, which was presented to Turkmenistan by the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 22, 2026, as a symbol of friendship and good-neighborly relations.

During the event, the speaking experts emphasized that the addition of the new vessel to the country's naval fleet would further strengthen the historical ties between the two brotherly nations. The participants shared detailed views on the economic significance of the "Dostluk" tanker in boosting regional transport and logistics capabilities, as well as increasing the capacity for transporting oil and gas products. They also discussed the duties assigned to young specialists and the necessity of mastering modern technologies in managing advanced vessels. At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the wide opportunities provided to develop the country's maritime system in accordance with international standards, wishing them prosperity in their grand initiatives.
