On February 26, 2024, a meeting was held between representatives of shipbuilding and repairing yard «Balkan» and the director and commercial manager of «Weichai Holding Co. Ltd» company ​​in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed specific issues of purchasing the necessary equipment and spare parts for the dry cargo ship «S.Niyazov» of the national Marine Merchant Fleet of Turkmenistan.

In particular, the parties were provided with technical specifications and drawings of the main engine and diesel generators required for the dry cargo ship «S.Niyazov».

Representatives of the yard also emphasized that the equipment purchased for this dry cargo ship must be certified in accordance with the requirements of international classification societies.

At the end of the meeting, it was noted that the company would consider proposals from the shipbuilding and repairing yard «Balkan», and they expressed confidence in establishing bilateral cooperation.
