Iranian province increases non-oil exports to Turkmenistan

The northern Iranian province of Mazandaran exported about $15 million worth of non-oil goods to Turkmenistan over the past year. The region has entered into active trade and economic relations with the Turkmen side, as Tehran Times reports.

During the indicated period, the northern Iranian province was able to increase export volumes by 13%. The main importers of goods from the province are Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Iraq. In total, the region sold goods worth more than $1.3 billion in the markets of almost fifty countries.

The range of exported products includes dairy products, cement, plastics, citrus fruits and other food products.
