The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has announced an auction for the sale of 40 state-owned properties.
The list of state properties set for privatization was published in Wednesday’s edition of Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper. The auction is scheduled for June 14, 2024, and will be conducted on the digital state property auction platform at www.е.fineconomic.gov.tm, accessible through the platform's mobile application.
Among the notable properties to be auctioned are a burnt brick production factory in the village of Hendekli in the Danev district of Lebap province, the Döwrebap shopping and entertainment center (8,800 square meters), a two-story building in Lebap province, a pipe factory in Dashoguz province (6,400 square meters), and the administrative building of the Nur Zaman economic association in Ashgabat (4,300 square meters).
Service facilities, including stores, cafes, canteens, administrative buildings, and production facilities, will also be auctioned.
Participation in the auction is open to citizens of Turkmenistan, foreign nationals, and non-governmental legal entities of Turkmenistan and other countries, following the procedures established by legislation.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy's Department of Property Relations and Enterprise Support, along with specialized entities of the provincial and Ashgabat city departments of finance and economy, will provide guidance on the auction participation process and furnish additional information on the objects for privatization.
All auction participants will have the opportunity to review information about the objects of privatization in advance. The sale of state-owned properties will be conducted with adherence to all stipulated obligations.
