World's Energy Giants to Meet at Istanbul Forum

Istanbul will host the Istanbul Energy Forum on November 22nd at the Istanbul Congress Center. Organized by the Anadolu Agency under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Energy, the forum will bring together energy ministers, representatives of international organizations, scientists, and industry leaders to discuss key issues in the global energy sector. A Turkmen news portal reported this information.

The theme of the forum is "A Common Future, Common Goals." Participants will discuss Turkey's role in ensuring energy security, strategies for financing the energy transition, the development of oil and gas markets, and new energy technologies. In a special session, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, and other high-ranking officials will participate.

Additionally, in a high-level panel discussion chaired by Bayraktar, energy ministers from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Libya, Russia, and Serbia will speak. The forum will continue with sessions organized by the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (BOTAS), as well as discussions on new technologies and financing the energy transition.
