Ashgabat Hosts Turkmenistan-Turkey Business Council Meeting

On December 4, 2024, a joint meeting of the Turkmenistan-Turkey Business Council took place in the small meeting room of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

As reported by official Turkmen media, participants discussed current issues of cooperation and outlined plans for the future.

The meeting was opened by the chairman of the council from the Turkmen side, the head of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and his Turkish counterpart. The parties emphasized the importance of regular dialogue for expanding business contacts.

During the meeting, representatives of Turkmenistan presented their initiatives. The head of the legal department and coordination of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of legal support for effective management.

In turn, the head of the international relations department of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan spoke about projects aimed at developing industry and entrepreneurship.

The moderators summed up the results of the meeting, noting its productivity and outlining prospects for the implementation of joint projects. The Turkmenistan-Turkey Business Council will continue to work on new initiatives to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

On the same day, an exhibition of Turkish export goods opened at the Expo Center of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat.
