On December 16, 2024, the 16th specialized exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran called "Iran Agrofood" began its work in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, as well as a regular Turkmen-Iranian business conference was held within it. The exhibition will continue until December 18. During three days, they will introduce the products and services of companies specializing in agriculture and food industry of Iran, as well as talk about the development plan of the companies and other interesting issues. The exhibition will give a new impetus to the further strengthening and expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Among the participants of the exhibition are representatives of the state and commercial and industrial organizations of Iran, about 60 companies operating in the agricultural, food and processing sectors, chemical and packaging production, logistics, banking, trade and services.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, members of the Government, representatives of the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, heads of diplomatic missions in Turkmenistan and international organizations, representatives of public organizations, mass media.
