On December 20, 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmed Gurbanov and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
During the exchange of views, it was emphasized that in recent years, Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation has acquired a steady character and is becoming more active in a wide range of areas. As a result of regular meetings and mutual visits at the highest level, in a relatively short period of time, the two countries have managed to reach a qualitatively new level of partnership.
During the conversation, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed, as well as issues related to the implementation of previously reached agreements.
