On January 7, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with a delegation led by the Director General of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan Al-Marshad. During the meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed issues of mutual interest in the financial sector and considered opportunities for developing relations.

As the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports, the sides discussed promising projects in the field of renewable energy, water management, agriculture, and healthcare with the participation of Saudi capital. In this regard, it was emphasized that there are great opportunities for developing relations in these areas.

The interlocutors expressed confidence that joint actions would bring mutually beneficial cooperation between the two friendly countries to a new level. The parties also confirmed their readiness to further strengthen relations.
