On February 3, 2025, a meeting was held in Moscow between CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with the ambassadors of the CIS member states. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation, Esen Aydogdyev. The official website of CIS informs about it.
At the meeting, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry summarized the results of multilateral cooperation carried out within the framework of the Commonwealth in 2024. In addition, the parties discussed cooperation priorities within the CIS this year. They also discussed important issues on the international and regional agenda.
