On March 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of a large ceramics manufacturing plant “Bäherden” in the Bakharden etrap of the Ahal velayat. The new production complex has become an important facility in the region's industrial infrastructure.
The opening ceremony was attended by the heads of the Mejlis, the Cabinet of Ministers, law enforcement agencies, ministries, the head of the Ahal velayat, representatives of the media and the public. Speaking to the audience, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated everyone on the commissioning of the modern “Bäherden” ceramics enterprise, noting the significant successes of the domestic industrial and construction complex.
The new “Bäherden” ceramics enterprise was built by order of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, IP “Eziz doganlar”.
The plant, designed to produce 3.3 million square meters of ceramic tiles and 120 thousand units of sanitary ware per year, is equipped with advanced equipment from leading countries of the world. The enterprise has created modern conditions for the work of about 460 employees.
The representative of the Italian company SACMI Imola Societa Cooperativa Michele Pulpito called the new “Bäherden” ceramics enterprise the first of its kind in Turkmenistan and one of the largest and most modern in the world among similar industries.
The companies SACMI Imola Societa Cooperativa and Associacione Costruttori Italiani Macchine Attrezzature per Ceramica presented the plant with certificates confirming compliance with high international standards of quality, environmental friendliness and safety.
In a ceremonial atmosphere, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov cut the symbolic ribbon and pressed a button on the control panel to start the operation of a large industrial facility.
The head of state inspected the exhibition pavilion with product samples and the plant's laboratory, equipped with advanced SACMI equipment for physical and chemical testing of ceramic products, and visited the enterprise's workshops, where he familiarized himself with the technological processes.
Having especially noted that most of the plant's specialists are young people, the President emphasized the importance of their mastering advanced technologies and innovations.
The commissioning of the new “Bäherden” ceramics enterprise is an important step in providing Turkmenistan's construction sector with high-quality materials of its own production, it was noted in conclusion.
