On April 2, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, met with the Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Emir Turki bin Mohammed Al Saud. During the negotiations, the parties discussed key aspects of political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.  

The parties noted the significant opportunities for expanding cooperation in the investment and urban development spheres, as well as for implementing joint promising infrastructure projects and industrial cooperation.

The importance of regular bilateral meetings and high-level visits, which contribute to the further advancement of bilateral relations and serve as a solid foundation for expanding multifaceted cooperation, was emphasized.

The parties stressed the importance of continuing to support each other within international organizations, including the UN.
