The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, considered one of the greatest spiritual and historical-cultural shrines of the Turkic world and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. He was accompanied on the trip by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as reported by TDH.

During the visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, where the muftis of both countries recited verses from the Holy Quran and offered prayers.

As previously reported, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is currently on a visit to the city of Turkestan, Kazakhstan. As part of the visit, an informal meeting between the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan and the President of Kazakhstan will take place.
