On 24 January 2023 a meeting between representatives of the «Turkmendenizderyayollary»  Agency and representatives of “Dragon Oil” company (UAE) was held in the Agency  via videoconference. 

During the meeting it was noted that the close cooperation with “Dragon Oil” in the field of maritime transport has been carried out for many years and further expansion of cooperation was discussed.

During the meeting there were briefed on projects aimed at development of maritime transport system and the national merchant marine fleet of our country, carried out under the leadership of Esteemed President of Turkmenistan, as well as was briefed on the program of development of maritime transport.

They emphasized that “Dragon Oil” company widely uses the services of maritime transport within the scope of its activities in Turkmenistan and pointed out the importance of projects aimed at development of the national fleet of Turkmenistan for development of the transport system of the country and expansion of international cooperation in the sphere of transport and transit logistics system and proposed the company to consider opportunities to invest in shipbuilding projects.

 At the end of the meeting the sides expressed interest in mutually beneficial long-term cooperation and noted that they would make efforts to expand and develop cooperation.
