The Upcoming Third UN Conference in Avaza: A Key Event of the Year

As is known, on April 11 of this year, at the 63rd plenary meeting of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, a Resolution was adopted on holding the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Avaza this August.

Turkmenistan is preparing with great responsibility for this important international event. On July 4 of this year, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, signed a Resolution on holding the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries in Avaza this August, in order to ensure a high organizational level of such a large-scale event.

Within the framework of the conference, a number of political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian events are planned. More than 30 states are expected to participate, including heads of government and UN representatives.
