On September 12, 2025, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of the new complex of buildings of the border detachment "Sarahs" of the State Border Service.

It should be noted that the works of Hero Arkadag "Mert ýigitler gaýrat üçin dogulýar", "Watan goragy mukaddesdir", "Mertler Watany beýgeldýär" play an important role in educating the young generation of our country, especially the defenders of the Motherland, in a military-patriotic spirit, in instilling in them the noble qualities of the Turkmen people, such as heroism, love for the Fatherland.

In the morning, the helicopter of the President of Turkmenistan, which took off from the International Airport of the capital, after some time arrived at the site of the opening ceremony of the new complex of buildings of the Sarakhs border detachment. Here, the Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev reported to the head of state on the readiness to open the new complex of buildings of the Serakhs border detachment of the State Border Service.

The President of Turkmenistan, to the thunderous applause of the participants of the ceremony, cut the symbolic ribbon, opening the new facility. The modern complex of the border detachment, which was put into operation, includes an administrative building, a parade ground, a canteen, a cultural center for 300 people, barracks, a medical unit, an open sports ground, a sports and fitness center, a parking lot for vehicles, as well as utility and household facilities that provide proper service and comfortable conditions for border guards.

The head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the administrative building of the complex and got acquainted with the created conditions. Here, the serviceman reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country about the service related to the protection of the State Border using video surveillance. It should be noted that the technical equipment of the administrative building and the conditions created fully comply with international standards. The modern technologies and the latest equipment available here are clear evidence of the strengthening of the material and technical base of the National Army and the successful implementation of the digital system in all its structures. The installed advanced equipment and communications make it possible to carry out round-the-clock surveillance and strict control over the situation on the State Border and ensure its reliable protection. Then the head of state visited the barracks located on the territory of the border detachment, where he got acquainted with the created conditions. The modern barracks complex for border guards provides everything necessary for a good rest, organizing interesting and useful leisure time in their free time. The spacious premises, the lighting system, the opportunities created for the rest of the military personnel fully comply with the requirements of military regulations, which inspires the defenders of the Fatherland to impeccably fulfill their sacred duty. The barracks have a hairdresser's, as well as several rooms equipped with modern furniture for storing everyday and seasonal military uniforms.

It is noteworthy that the social service rooms are also equipped with the appropriate equipment. The military personnel have at their disposal the "Galkynyş" room and a modern library with a rich collection. This contributes to the cultural recreation of border guards, improving their knowledge. The library has works by Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, which raise the patriotic spirit of the military personnel.

Then the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the new military equipment with high combat characteristics, which entered service with the military structures. Getting acquainted with the unique features of the military equipment presented here, the head of state emphasized that the material and technical base of the country's military and law enforcement agencies will continue to be steadily strengthened, noting that significant importance should be attached to issues of improving the professional level of military personnel, young soldiers and commanders operating military equipment. Various military uniforms intended for the country's military personnel were also demonstrated here. Then President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the canteen of the new border detachment. The premises are equipped with modern equipment for preparing high-calorie dishes and providing adequate nutrition to border guards, which creates the opportunity for fast and high-quality cooking from environmentally friendly products. The canteen of the new complex of buildings, which fully meets the requirements of the time, provides special rooms for cooking and proper storage of food. It is equipped with modern cooling and heating systems, modern equipment, as well as a number of advanced technologies that significantly facilitate the process of preparing varied and tasty food. Various dishes of national cuisine are prepared in the canteen, much attention is paid to their taste and nutritional value. This ensures that the prepared dishes comply with the traditions of national cuisine, as a result of which the dishes are tastier, and the work of the cooks is simplified. Then the President of Turkmenistan inspected new modern residential buildings for military personnel and their families. On the territory of the complex of buildings of the Serakhs border detachment of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, there are 4 modern residential complexes with 36 apartments designed for 144 families, a store, a children's playground and a sports ground. The creation of all conditions for the service and comfortable living of military personnel is one of the priority vectors of the military reform carried out in the country. At the state level, special attention is paid to creating the necessary conditions for military personnel performing the noble mission of protecting the Fatherland. The construction of new residential buildings within the complex is also a result of the care shown.

On the territory of the border detachment, all conditions have been created for military personnel to engage in physical education and sports, which speaks of the importance attached to the creation of more favorable conditions for the physical training of the defenders of the Fatherland, including for various sports. Noting that the work to create favorable living conditions for border guards and their families will be continued, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov presented gifts to family members. Members of the happy family, who moved to a new apartment, following traditional traditions, presented the President of Turkmenistan with a holiday gift.

Then the President of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the work of the retail outlet on the territory of the complex, offering a wide range of everyday goods. There are food products and household goods produced by Turkmen entrepreneurs, and other products. This clearly demonstrates the successful implementation of the instructions of the head of state on the uninterrupted supply of food to the population. Then the head of state handed over the keys to the new cars to the Chief of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the opening of the new complex of buildings of the Sarakhs border detachment. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov cordially congratulated the heads of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country on the opening of the new complex of buildings of the Sarakhs border detachment of the State Border Service.
