From October 13 to 16, 2025, a Turkmen delegation led by Deputy Minister of Communications of Turkmenistan took part in the international technology exhibition and conference “GITEX Global 2025” held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at the invitation of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of the UAE.

This major forum served as an important platform for exchanging experience and discussing cooperation opportunities in the fields of digitalization, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and data management.

The Turkmen delegation visited the main state pavilion, as well as the stands of TDRA, Digital Dubai, and other companies, and got acquainted with the latest solutions in digital services.

On October 15, 2025, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with the Director General of the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment (DDaSE), part of Digital Dubai, Mr. Younus Al Nasser, and with the Director General of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), Engineer Majed Sultan Al Mesmar.

During the meetings, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in data management, digital government services, digital technologies, cybersecurity, and the training of IT specialists.

The Turkmen side invited Digital Dubai and TDRA to participate in the international exhibition and conference “Turkmentel-2025,” which will be held in Ashgabat from November 12 to 14, 2025, and proposed to hold consultations on digital governance, data management, and cybersecurity.

The Emirati side confirmed its readiness to expand cooperation and expressed interest in continuing joint work in specific areas.

The participation of the Turkmen delegation in “GITEX Global 2025” once again reaffirmed the mutual commitment of Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates to strengthening cooperation in the field of digital innovation.
