On June 2, 2023, a conference was held on the topic “Promising future of the sea pearl of Central Asia - green port”, in the conference hall of the “Balkan” shipbuilding and ship repair plant JSC, with the participation of employees of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” Agency, Turkmenbashi International Sea Port and the shipbuilding and ship repair plant "Balkan",

As it known, on June 1, 2023, the Turkmenbashi International Seaport was awarded with “EcoPorts” Certificate, which became clear evidence that the work of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in the environmental sphere of Turkmenistan has become effective, increasing the reputation of this major institution on the coast of the Caspian Sea.

Also, during the discussion it was noted that the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi is able to meet future needs by offering quality offers and higher services along with existing advanced infrastructure capabilities.

The seaport traffic control is a clear proof that the loading and unloading operations in all divisions and automation at that time were controlled by these electronic technologies.

That is, the goal of awarding the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi with the Green Port Certificate is to develop and prepare the entire project in accordance with international standards while preserving the ecology of the Caspian Sea.

Expressing the gratitude for the great attention of our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar, significant work is being carried out in our country, including important international projects.

Also, a round table was organized on discussion of the good news about the city of “Arkadag”, of joining the project “Development of sustainable, green, climate-friendly cities with innovative solutions in the region of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe” and that the “EcoPorts” certificate awarded to the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
