On May 11, 2026, a solemn meeting was held in the conference hall of the "Beýik Ýüpek ýoly" hotel of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport to celebrate the commissioning of the dry cargo ship "Gadamly". The vessel was built by the "Balkan" Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Yard" Open Joint Stock Company in cooperation with the Korean company "Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology Co., Ltd." Specialists from the State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan and representatives of public organizations attended the festive event with great enthusiasm.

During the meeting, speakers emphasized the historical significance of the dry cargo ship "Gadamly"—which received its official blessing at the Turkmenbashi International Seaport with the participation of the Honorable President—in strengthening the capacity of the country's maritime fleet. The speakers wished the new vessel safe voyages and "fair winds," and highly praised the President's historic efforts to modernize the maritime and river systems, expand the country's transit and transport potential, and develop international cooperation.

Participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their international initiatives and for providing extensive opportunities to consistently reinforce the material and technical base of the industry.
