On June 3, 2026, the regular Turkmen-American Business Forum and bilateral meetings were held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. This event served as a strategic platform aimed at strengthening economic cooperation in the region and identifying new investment vectors. An official delegation consisting of representatives from leading US companies, including major corporations such as Climate Compass, John Deere, CNH Industrial, Westport Trading Europe Limited, Palo Alto Networks, Coca-Cola, Valley Irrigation, and Sig Sauer, arrived in Ashgabat to participate in this official meeting organized within the framework of the Turkmenistan-US Business Council. During the meeting, the parties discussed promising projects for modernizing the national economy and further expanding trade and economic relations.
In the official agenda of the talks, the transport, communication, and logistics sector was considered one of the most essential and high-priority areas of partnership. Taking into account Turkmenistan's advantageous geopolitical location and the state policy pursued to develop transnational transport corridors, the meeting participants paid special attention to the modernization of logistics infrastructure. The American side confirmed its full readiness to implement joint projects focused on transforming the country into an international transport and transit hub, efficiently organizing multimodal cargo transportation, and introducing modern high technologies and digital logistics systems into this sphere.
