On the occasion of the glorious 35th anniversary of Independence, large-scale festive celebrations were held in the capital city of Ashgabat, the city of Arkadag, and across all provinces of the country.

On September 27, a solemn parade took place at the square in front of the State Tribune Complex in Ashgabat, attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This grand event commenced with a festive march by personnel from the defense and law enforcement agencies, alongside a display of modern military hardware and weaponry. The military personnel proudly demonstrated their high level of professional mastery and readiness.

As part of the celebrations, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his holiday congratulations to the nation. In his address, the Head of State characterized Independence as the unshakeable foundation of national statehood and the primary pride of the people. He also highlighted that new cities, villages, and magnificent modern facilities are being constructed across the country, high labor achievements are being attained in all sectors of the economy, and economic stability is continuously being strengthened.

The solemn parade was attended by members of the Government, leadership of the Mejlis, military and law enforcement bodies, ministries, and state departments, the governors (hyakims) of the provinces and Ashgabat city, as well as staff members of diplomatic missions operating in Turkmenistan and numerous guests.
