The total amount of cargo transportation in January-September 2023 year of «Turkmendenizderyayollary» agency increased by 119,9% compared to the same period in 2022 year and amounted to 2 287,7 million tons. Generally, the plan for cargo transportation for January-September 2023 year completed by 122,3 %.

Cargo turnover for January-September 2023 year amounted to 709,741 mln.tn.km, which is 121,8% higher than the figures for the same period in 2022 year; the plan for cargo turnover for January-September was fulfilled by 228,0%.

Passenger turnover in January-September 2023 year increased by 106,9% compared to the corresponding period in 2022 year and amounted to 128,200  mln.passenger.km. The implementation of the plan amounted to 128,1%.

Ro-Pax auto-passenger ferries transported 19 028,0 automobile transport during the reporting period, which accounted for 127,4% compared to 2022 year.

The automobile transport has increased as a result of the provision of preferences and benefits for maritime cargo transportation and port fees and services in the ports of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, in order to increase maritime cargo transportation.
