Online training program for Turkmenbashi International Seaport employees have started

On 16.02.2024, within the framework of the joint action plan concluded between the Association “Turkmen Logistics” and Turkmenbashi International Seaport, the Association together with CILT Central Asia with the support of USAID TCA organized online trainings for the port staff with the participation of international experts.

The first training on “Maritime Management and Leadership: Creating Value in Shipping” was held on 16.02.2024. During the training, the speaker Kirill Samaray – an international expert in maritime transportation, told the participants about global trends in maritime logistics, which have the greatest impact on the work of modern ports, shared useful knowledge about maritime management: the function and role of port management, optimization of operations and efficiency improvement, integration of maritime cargo operations into supply chains, management and optimization of maritime cargo flows, shared data on innovative technologies that can dramatically change the maritime industry, as well as the role of maritime management and leadership. The expert explained what qualities and leadership strategies are most effective in the realization of sustainable port development, citing as examples real cases and situations from the experience of other major ports of the world.

The joint action plan between Turkmen Logistics Association and Turkmenbashi International Sea Port includes not only training, but also many other large-scale activities.
