On February 16, the first flight of Turkmenistan Airlines took place on the Ashgabat-Jeddah-Ashgabat route, the Watan news program reports.

Flights on the Ashgabat-Jeddah-Ashgabat route will be carried out weekly, in particular, flights from Ashgabat will be made on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The price of a ticket on the route Ashgabat-Jeddah is 4,322.50 TMT, Jeddah-Ashgabat - 4,382.40 TMT.

«Turkmenistan» Airlines expresses reliance that the launch of regular flights will attract the attention of both business representatives and tourists, and will help strengthen cooperation between the two countries. This will also give Turkmen pilgrims more opportunities to perform Hajj and Umrah. Jeddah is a port city in Saudi Arabia, serving as the gateway to the holy Mecca and Medina.
