On February 27-28, 2024, specialists from «Turkmendenizderyayollary» agency took part in the second seminar on the digitalization of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, held in Tbilisi, via videoconference. The seminar was attended by representatives of the Association of Trans-Caspian Transport Corridors, the digital system, the international transport corridor TRACECA, government agencies and experts from relevant industries.

During the seminar new ideas for creating interconnections between digital system initiatives in the participating countries was put forward. In particular, the seminar aimed to discuss key strategic areas such as governance and accountability, secure data exchange and the regulatory framework required for digital transformation.

During the seminar, the complexities and challenges of digital transformation, as well as the huge potential of the digital future, were discussed. The possibility of creating a digital system center and pilot projects in each country was also discussed.

As a result of the seminar, the participants put forward proposals for the digitalization of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor.
