Turkmen transport and logistics companies will take part in the III International Forum «Transport Logistics of the Caspian Region 2024», which is scheduled for April 23-24 in Astrakhan. The main topic of the upcoming discussions will be the Volga-Caspian transport and logistics ecosystem, as well as the international North-South corridor.

The forum will be attended by representatives of ports, cargo owners, maritime operators, exporters and importers of the five Caspian republics - Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran. As part of the first day of the forum, an introductory visit to several cargo ports of Astrakhan will take place.

It is expected that on the sidelines of the event the state and prospects of the water transport market, modernization of port infrastructure, as well as investments in large projects in the field of transport in the Caspian Sea will be discussed in detail.
