Transport workers and heads of the railway industry of Turkmenistan will take part in the International Conference “Railway Logistics: Current Development Challenges”, which will be held in Minsk on April 4.
The organizer of the conference is the Belarusian Railway, reports the IIC with reference to the BELTA news agency.
The forum is expected to include heads of international transport organizations, railways of Belarus, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of ministries and concerns, the largest shippers of the Republic of Belarus, residents of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park “Great Stone”, logistics operators railway “1520 space”, ports and rolling stock owners.
Conference participants will discuss the formation of railway logistics and competitive logistics solutions in modern conditions. In particular, the issues of using ports, prospects for the development and modernization of transport and logistics infrastructure, the transport and transit potential of railways and logistics companies involved in organizing the transportation of goods along the international transport corridors “North-South” and “East-West” will be discussed, as well as also within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
Participants will exchange opinions and current proposals in the field of transport and logistics, increasing customer focus and efficiency of interaction with cargo owners, expanding the accessibility and transparency of the railway business.
