On October 9, 2024, representatives of the Austrian company "M.&D. Gerther Ges.m.b.H" visited the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port. During the visit, the delegation familiarized themselves with the infrastructure, capabilities, installed equipment, and services of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port.

A meeting with port representatives also took place during the visit. During the meeting, the company's CEO, Alexander Masinger, noted that he had familiarized himself with the capabilities of the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port and was impressed by this international port, equipped with modern advanced technologies. He expressed interest in establishing cooperation in the field of providing spare parts for the equipment installed at the port.

Accordingly, it was emphasized that as a result of active cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria, the company "M.&D. Gerther Ges.m.b.H" expects to achieve key objectives, such as increasing capabilities in priority areas and strengthening cooperation.

In this field it was proposed to schedule a visit of a comprehensive group of company representatives to Turkmenistan in November 2024 and to discuss the directions of cooperation in detail during this visit.
