Turkmenistan-OEC: Cooperation in Transport and Cross-Border Trade Development Discussed

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, met with the Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation (OEC), Asad Majid Khan, during his working visit to Tehran on Wednesday. They discussed cooperation in the transport sector and cross-border trade, as well as ways to further develop the partnership between Turkmenistan and the OEC. Meredov emphasized the importance of effective interaction with the organization. They also focused on joint seminars and training sessions that could strengthen partnership relations. The Secretary-General proposed holding sustainable development events in Turkmenistan in the first half of 2025.
