On April 21, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, arrived on a friendly visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports TDH.

As noted in the report, the high-ranking guest was met by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the Turkistan International Airport.

During the upcoming negotiations, it is planned to discuss the prospects for further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as current issues on the regional agenda.

Particular attention will be paid to issues of regional cooperation and upcoming events in various formats. As part of the visit, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan is also expected to visit a number of sites in the city of Turkistan.
