Turkmenistan and France signed a solid package of bilateral documents

During the official visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to France, important bilateral documents aimed at expanding cooperation between the two countries were signed. This was reported by TDH.

The signing of the documents took place in two stages. The first took place at the end of the Turkmen-French Economic Forum at the InterContinental Paris – Le Grand Hotel, the second – after the talks between Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace.

Following the economic forum, four memorandums of understanding were signed: between the Türkmenaragatnaşyk agency and Airbus Defence and Space SAS; between the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan and IGN FI on cooperation in the field of land cadastre and remote monitoring of agricultural crops; between the State Water Management Committee of Turkmenistan and SUEZ International on cooperation in the field of water management; between the State Concern Türkmengaz and SUEZ International on cooperation in the gas industry.

Following the talks with the President of France, the following were signed: Declaration on cooperation in the field of sustainable urban development between the governments of the two countries; Roadmap for cooperation in the field of education and through higher education institutions for 2025-2026; Agreement between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the National Museum of Natural History of France on cooperation in the field of archaeological research work; Framework Agreement between the Türkmenaragatnaşyk agency and Thales Alenia Space France on equipping the national telecommunications satellite TürkmenÄlem; Memorandum of Understanding between the State Concern Türkmengaz and Kayrros SAS.
