Currently, cooperation between the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" and the Classification Society of the French Republic "Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore sas" (BV) continues under the "Agreement on delegating authority to perform statutory certification services for ships registered in Turkmenistan".

Recently, with the assistance of BV, representatives of the Administration of State Supervision of Shipping in Turkmenistan under the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" took part in a training on the topic " Surveys of ship in service" which was organized in Aktau, the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the training, the participants were introduced to several conventions in the field of maritime transport adopted by the International Maritime Organization. They also was introduced with various measures and methodological techniques to ensure the safe navigation of ships and prevent environmental pollution, the rules for their practical application. In order to learn lessons and gain practical skills, the procedure for surveying ships was familiarized in the seaport of Bautino.

As the results of the training, the Agency's specialists were awarded the relevant certificates in the field of "Surveys of ship in service".
