National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, conducted a working visit across Ashgabat on Friday to inspect the progress of major social infrastructure projects, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.
A key stop on the tour was the construction site of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, where a modern academic complex is being built.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reviewed the architectural plans, including classrooms, dormitories, and housing for faculty members, and provided recommendations for design improvements in line with national traditions.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Baimyrat Annamammedov reported on the construction progress of a higher education institution for the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also reviewed the project for the Güneşli Center for Children and Youth, which will offer cultural and physical development opportunities for children. The facility will include an amphitheater, play areas, and spaces for learning traffic rules. He emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach to youth development.
The visit concluded with an inspection of the Ahalteke Horse Breeding Complex, currently undergoing restoration. Berdimuhamedov reviewed landscaping and racetrack renovation plans, and discussed the use of Karakum sand, which has been recognized as optimal for the care of thoroughbred horses.
