The National Trade Union Center of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan,  Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan jointly organized a competition  on February 9, 2023 among working women and girls, in honor of International Women's Day, at the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” agency and its subordinate enterprises, which was held in the conference hall of the hotel "Charlak".

The competition is consisted of 5 conditions. Women and girls who works in different professions in the field of sea and river transport competed expressing love for their profession.

Women and girls showed their abilities and were able to get ahead of each other. In the competition, Myahri Esadova the Administrator of the Reception Department of the Charlak Hotel took the 3rd place, Khesel Berdiyeva, a specialist in the power supply department of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, took the 2nd place, Yalkym Meretgylyjova, a teacher at the marine secondary professional school of the city Turkmenbashi, took the 1st place. The winners of the competition were awarded with a certificate of honor and valuable gifts
