President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the Republic of Kazakhstan on a working visit to take part in the first-ever Central Asia–Italy summit, according to Turkmenistan’s state news agency.
President Berdimuhamedov was greeted upon arrival by Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, along with other top officials and representatives of the Turkmen delegation.
Turkmenistan’s active participation in the summit reflects the country’s commitment to its foreign policy strategy based on neutrality, good neighborliness, and equality, a doctrine laid out by National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and successfully carried forward under Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s leadership.
