Turkmenbashi International Seaport and Pakistani Ports discussed expanding cooperation

On June 17, 2025, representatives of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport and representatives of the Pakistani ports of Gwadar and Karachi held a video conference to discuss cooperation in sharing experience in port management and operation.

During the meeting, representatives from the ports of Gwadar and Karachi shared their experience in managing and operating ports in accordance with modern requirements. This exchange further strengthened mutual cooperation and continued their friendly and fraternal relations.

In turn, representatives of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport spoke about their intensive ongoing work, presented information on cargo handling operations, import, export, and transit routes for various goods, the favorable conditions created for clients, and the port's capabilities, which meet international standards.

During the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Turkmenbashi International Seaport and Gwadar Port. In conclusion, both sides expressed gratitude for the mutually beneficial exchange of experience and voiced their readiness to organize similar meetings in the future.
