On March 15, 2023 an online meeting was held between representatives of the Agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" and representatives of the company "KPMG Tax and Advisory LLC".

During the meeting, representatives of the company introduced the main activities of the company, its main directions and experience in world practice.

KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services, operating in 147 countries with more than 219 000 people working in member firms around the world. The task of KPMG is to analyze the situation on the market, develop a strategy and approaches to doing business.

Representatives of the company expressed interest in cooperation in expanding the services and capabilities of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport. In particular, they discussed the trust management of seaport terminals. Trust management is a method of management in which the owner of the property enters into an agreement with the trustee on trust management of the property. The advantages of this type of management are the integration of the port with other transport systems, the improvement of port management, as well as the increase in cargo traffic in the port.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in the field of investment in order to further development and deepen bilateral cooperation in this field.
