At present "Turkmendenizderyayollary" agency is working on further expansion of cooperation in the sphere of maritime transport and conducts regular negotiations with foreign companies in this sphere.

In this connection, the meeting between representatives of "Turkmendenizderyayollary" agency and representatives of "Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Dhd" company was held on May 15, 2023. During the meeting the parties discussed issues of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation, repair of watercrafts, establishment of cooperation on shipbuilding projects.

Representatives of the company have been acquainted with possibilities and capacities of "Balkan" shipyard, and the company has expressed the interest in cooperation in future on repair of ships and floating craft at "Balkan" shipyard.

In particular, the representatives of the company offered to repair two floating platforms at the shipyard, namely a floating oil producing platform and one oil storage vessel.

At the end of the meeting the parties noted that they are ready for further expansion of cooperation in the sphere of shipbuilding and that the corresponding work will be carried out efficiently.
