According to the Concept of Development of the Labor Market in Turkmenistan until 2030, the country will continue to work on improving sustainable growth of wages in order to create an effective infrastructure that meets the growth rates of labor productivity and the quality of the workforce.

As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, one of the ways to increase the purchasing power of wages is to increase its minimum size. In this context, the Concept provides for, in accordance with the rules of the International Labor Organization, adhering to the basic components of establishing and increasing the minimum wage, to promote a high level of social protection of the population.

In this direction, it is also planned to bring the system of incentive payments and additional bonuses for work, methods of determining and increasing monthly wages in accordance with the realities of the time in order to increase the material interest of employees, production efficiency and quality of work.
