The international seaport of Turkmenbashi received bulky cargo

On May 31, 2023, 2 bulky quarry mining equipment was delivered to the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi. These equipments were manufactured in Germany and delivered by sea from Turkish ports to the Turkmenbashi International Sea Port. Each of these equipment weighs 125 tons and intended for the second stage of the Lebap cement plant in the Lebap velayat.

The General Cargo Terminal, being one of large terminals, has two “Liebherr” cranes with a lifting capacity of 330 tons each (with the possibility of increasing up to 750 tons) to unload bulky and heavy cargo from ships. Equipping the port with such powerful lifting equipment creates great opportunities for receiving heavy cargo imported into our country and following in transit.

As it is known, the Turkmenbashi International Seaport is a “sea gate” connecting Central Asia and Europe by sea, road and rail, and serves as the largest transit hub in the region. The port has large loading and unloading terminals equipped with powerful equipment, which fully allow the provision of high-quality services for loading and unloading, as well as storage of goods.
