Astrakhan will host the fifth International Forum Transport Logistics of the Caspian Region 2026 on April 15–16, focusing on key issues in cargo transportation along the North-South International Transport Corridor and related routes, organizers said.
The forum’s business program will focus on developing a unified transport and logistics space within the Caspian hub, improving freight efficiency, assessing infrastructure readiness of routes, and addressing navigation on the Volga River in 2026.
The agenda will also include customs regulation, documentation procedures and cross-border financial settlements.
More than 250 delegates are expected to attend, including representatives of ports and terminals, logistics and transport companies, cargo owners, industry associations and government bodies.
The forum is organized by VIVA CONSULT in cooperation with the Afanasy Nikitin Association and will be held with the support of industry organizations, including the Turkmen Logistics Association.
